These terms cover your use of kuglerservices.com (the "site") and the Kugler Books client portal at books.kuglerservices.com (the "portal"), both operated by Kugler Services LLC ("Kugler Services," "we," "us"). By using the site or portal, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language and aren't legal advice.
The site
The site shares general information about our services. Nothing on it is accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice for your situation. Submitting a form or booking a call doesn't make you a client.
Your engagement agreement controls
Our professional services are provided under a separate written engagement agreement. If that agreement and these terms conflict, the engagement agreement wins.
Portal accounts
- The portal is only for people we invite. Accounts can't be created on your own.
- Keep your password, authenticator app, and any Google account you use to sign in secure. Don't share your login.
- You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think it has been misused.
- We may suspend or close access, for example when an engagement ends or to protect security.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- access accounts, companies, or data you aren't authorized to see
- try to break, probe, or overload the site or portal, or get around its security
- upload malware, or content you don't have the right to share
- use the site or portal for anything unlawful
Your information
You keep ownership of the business data and documents you give us. You allow us to use them to provide our services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Third-party services
Some features connect to services such as QuickBooks Online, Plaid, Square, Google, and Calendly. Those services have their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.
No warranty
The site and portal are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we don't promise they'll always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Kugler Services won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the site or portal. Our total liability related to the site or portal is limited to $100, unless your engagement agreement says otherwise.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the site or portal after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
